Sara, Book 1: Sara Learns the Secret about the Law of Attraction
Great for adults beginning on the journey of the law of attraction too!
This book offers you, the reader, a thoughtful and inspired formula for generating appreciation, happiness, and good feelings—deftly blended into the uplifting story of a plucky, inquisitive girl named Sara; and her teacher, an ethereal owl named Solomon.
There’s something in Sara for any child, adult, or teen pursuing joy and meaning . . . and searching for answers about life, death, and the desires of the heart. It’s filled with techniques and processes for making one’s dreams come true . . . especially yours!
Sara and Solomon will delight and enchant you.
Sara, Book 2: Solomon's Fine Featherless Friends
From that opening exclamation, this second Sara novel rampages through chapter after chapter of fun and adventure.
Solomon (the owl from the first book who “speaks without moving his lips”) reappears and gives Sara and her classmate Seth a fresh and enlightening perspective on life on this planet.
Simply put, these two adventurous, tree-climbing friends dialogue with their ethereal feathered mentor regarding their varied (and sometimes confusing) experiences with parents, teachers, other students, neighbors, and property owners. The clarity, understanding, and wisdom that Solomon gives them results in some surprisingly practical views on the rules of the game of life.
Sara, Book 3: A Talking Owl Is Worth a Thousand Words!
“Do you believe in ghosts?” Annette just sort of blurted out.
Sara and Seth both looked up with surprise. “Well,” Sara stalled, “I guess I do.” She remembered the night Solomon had visited her in her bedroom after Jason and Jimmy had shot him, but she hadn’t really thought about him being a ghost that night; she’d just been so glad to see her beloved feathered friend.
Sara and Seth looked at each other. Both of them knew that if anything would fall into the category of ghosts, Solomon would most likely be it, but they didn’t say anything, uncertain about telling their new friend their special secret.
“Well, do you believe in ghosts?” Seth asked, looking intently at Annette’s serious face.
Annette looked at Seth and then at Sara, who both sat quietly, each waiting to hear the answer.
“No, I just wondered if you did,” Annette answered abruptly. “Hey, let’s swing.” And without taking the time to execute a perfectly calculated leap from the platform as she usually did, Annette grabbed the swinging rope and jumped off as if she couldn’t do so fast enough. . . .

I AM, the newest children’s book by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, is taken from his latest book for adults, Wishes Fulfilled. I AM teaches kids a simple but profound message: God is not far off in the distance, or even merely beside us. In other words, we are not separate from God—we are God! Knowing that God’s love and strength is a part of everyone can help kids grow to meet their greatest potential in life. The book uses a rhyme and illustrations to teach this lesson and help children realize that they are greater than they ever imagined! There is also a special section at the end that teaches the important meaning and way to use the words I am to create love, happiness, and greatness in their own lives and the world
Sensational Meditation for Children
Higher self esteem, improved focus, better reading skills, closer family relationships and better health - these are just a few of the outcomes parents, therapists and teachers who've used Sensational Meditation for Children are raving about.
Considered the bible for teaching meditation to children, this book provides a step-by-step roadmap for introducing, inspiring, and supporting children to meditate. Rich with philosophy, supporting science and practical examples, this book clearly explains the benefits of meditation for today's young generation. Included are 14 meditations and a variety of fun-filled exercises to help you get started right away.
A meditation movement for children is quietly emerging across the United States and throughout the world. Children are learning meditation techniques at home, in school, in after-school clubs, and in churches, yoga studios, YMCAs, and other community centers. Parents, teachers, and therapists are finding that meditation helps children in as many ways as there are children learning its techniques.
Teachers who incorporate meditation techniques into their lesson plans report that their classroom environments are more peaceful. They attribute this to their students' ability to express care and compassion for one another. Teachers also say their students' academic skills and confidence have risen.
Therapists who work with children say meditation reduces test anxiety, builds positive peer relationships, and enhances anger management skills. Scientists find meditation decreases blood pressure and helps other physical functions, which may be adding to these positive shifts in children.
Parents are also beginning to grasp moments of serenity and bliss after teaching meditation techniques to their children. Parents say meditation helps their family members be more respectful of one another; thus relationships grow closer and more fulfilling. Some parents say meditation helps raise their children's self-esteem. Additionally, children now can relax in doctors' offices and wind down at bedtime. Their health has improved, too. Parents report that their children truly like to meditate, are curious about its processes, and ask lots of questions.
Many children say that meditation helps them prepare for tests and sports events; and report it improves their relationships with their friends, parents, brothers, and sisters. Other children tell me that they like to meditate because it helps them feel happier when they are sad, and sometimes simply because it's fun. One child shares, "It just feels cool!"
On my way to a happy life

Unstoppable Me!: 10 Ways to Soar Through Life
Following in the footsteps of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s first children’s book, the bestseller Incredible You! this work goes even further toward expressing Wayne’s positive message for children. In Unstoppable Me! Dr. Dyer teaches children how to hold on to the no-limit thinking he believes they were born with, rather than just trying to “fit in.” In doing so, they can learn to truly enjoy life and become unstoppable as they strive to attain their dreams.
The 10 important
lessons in this book include the value of taking risks, dealing with
stress and anxiety, and learning to enjoy each moment. Each point
includes an example showing how a child might apply the concept in his
or her everyday life. Similar to Incredible You! there are questions at the end of the book to help spark discussion and to further reinforce Wayne’s message.
Dr Wayne W. Dyer has taken then 10 concepts from his book for adults "10
Secrets for Success & Inner Peace" and interpreted them for
children, creating "Incredible You"! Wayne believes that it's never too
early for children to know that they're unique and powerful beings, and
they have everything they need within themselves to create happy,
successful lives. With this book, parents can introduce these important
ideas to their children. The ten concepts are numbered, titled and set
in rhyming verse, and vibrant illustrations bring each point to life. At
the end, there are questions that kids can answer to connect these
ideas to their own lives, and make them realize how incredible they
truly are.

It replaces fear with a sense of spiritual direction and safety. The world becomes friendly, nonadversarial, and welcoming. Life becomes joyful, amusing, generous, and abundant. This is the divine plan. The intuitive life is one of confidence, inner peace, and creative expression. What better gift to ourselves and our children?"

Do your children utilize all of their senses?
“All children are naturally born with a basic sixth sense. It is the primary way in which we all first relate to the physical world. Consciously used as learning tools these intuitive/psychic talents can aid in communication, social interaction, compassion, and creativity. They add a spiritual dimension and depth that help all children grow to become productive, loving, and wise parents, teachers, brothers and sisters, and friends.”
Are your children learning all they can in school? Most teachers emphasize facts and figures, which may challenge children’s intellectual skills but do little to encourage or enhance their innate instinctive abilities. In this book, you’ll discover:
Definitions of different extraordinary senses The meaning behind soul visitations Psychic abilities of child prodigies Intuitive games and exercises to help encourage the talents your children have Personal stories of psychic phenomena from the children who experienced them And much more.
The Biology of Belief, Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter & Miracles
With more than 100,000 copies sold of his self-published book, The Biology of Belief, Bruce Lipton teams up with Hay House to bring his message to an even wider audience. This book is a groundbreaking work in the field of new biology, and it will forever change how you think about thinking. Through the research of Dr. Lipton and other leading-edge scientists, stunning new discoveries have been made about the interaction between your mind and body and the processes by which cells receive information. It shows that genes and DNA do not control our biology, that instead DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our thoughts. Using simple language, illustrations, humor, and everyday examples, he demonstrates how the new science of Epigenetics is revolutionizing our understanding of the link between mind and matter and the profound effects it has on our personal lives and the collective life of our species.

I found you through your other blog but could not find a place to comment or email questions. Is there a reason you sjkipped over GAPS diet? And how much does camel's milk cost you per month?
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner! I don't remember getting a notification. I never pursued the GAPS diet for one major reason. I don't believe in starving yeast, because of it's abilities to become more virulent when starved. We don't overtly give sugars, but we don't avoid fruits or carbs. I also have to watch so many other foods (oxalates and salycilates) that I just can't limit them further. I add broth and tolerated ferments in whenever possible, so we add what we like about the GAPS diet, but we don't intentionally starve yeast. When we were doing camel milk medicinally, it was probably about $700 a month for two children. It's not cheap, but prices are coming down since we've used it. The supply and demand is balancing more as more farmers hit the scene.
